A smiling tear

In the sweetness of a stroke,
in an effort to provoke,
your skin left me open,
all the walls broken.

In the softness of your voice,
left alone I have no choice,
to grasp for your hand,
to stay where I stand.

In the light of your eyes,
stars explode in the skies,
and if the tears start to fall,
I will have no choice at all.

So if a smile needs to be stolen,
even if your eyes are swollen,
I would rip it apart,
so you could smile, with all your heart.
